Greenbriar Landscape Management
At Greenbriar we consider your geographic area, climate, and planned usage of the property when planning a new lawn or landscaping project. After this plan has been determined, the preparation process can include soil analysis, manipulation of soil nutrients, grading, and a myriad of other applications. We know that a healthy, beautiful lawn says a lot about the homeowner or business that it represents.
Common Turf Grasses
Bermuda: Considered a warm weather, traffic-resistant turf.
Centipede grass: Can be used for lawns, parks, and commercial areas. Not a high-traffic grass.
Fescue: This is a perfect grass for many different purposes, from personal lawns to playgrounds and sports fields. It does well in low-light, high-traffic situations.
Ryegrass: A great impact-resistant grass. It is used for athletic fields, parks, golf courses as well as for home lawns.
St. Augustine: Grows in warm, coastal areas best. While it can handle moderate traffic, it is generally best for use in relatively low-impact areas.
Zoysia: Very salt tolerant and can handle wear better than most turf grasses. Its slow rate of growth means that it recovers from damage very slowly. Best used in areas that might receive heavy traffic, but not concentrated in a single area.
